The engineering division seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Platform group. This position centers on constructing core artificial intelligence infrastructure while directly deploying large language models to supply intelligent capabilities across the product. The professional chosen will focus on backend architecture that guarantees reliable, secure, and scalable AI operations, alongside hands-on integration of large language models to resolve user challenges.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI platform services handling deployment, orchestration, and lifecycle management for large language models and other models
- Apply AI technologies directly to build and enhance intelligent features in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Construct and maintain robust APIs and backend systems integrating AI capabilities into the core platform
- Develop infrastructure for model serving, monitoring, logging, and automated evaluation to ensure high production performance
- Connect with multiple large language model providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, while managing model selection, routing, and fallback strategies
- Promote best practices regarding AI privacy, security, compliance, data anonymization, and regulatory adherence
- Optimize platform scalability, performance, and cost efficiency using cloud-native technologies and distributed systems
- Track advancements in artificial intelligence infrastructure, MLOps, and applications to incorporate relevant innovations
- Partner cross-functionally with product, frontend, and data units to deliver reliable user experiences
Requirements
- Extensive background in designing and building scalable AI or machine learning platforms and infrastructure in production environments
- Proven track record of applying large language models and artificial intelligence to real-world product features and user solutions
- Deep expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud providers
- Demonstrated experience integrating and managing multiple large language models and AI models with an understanding of operational limits
- Proficiency in programming languages used for backend and AI platform development like Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Familiarity with MLOps best practices encompassing model deployment, monitoring, logging, and automated evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to manage AI privacy and security challenges including data anonymization and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Proficiency in orchestration frameworks and workflow engines such as LangGraph, Airflow, Kubeflow, Ray, or similar tools
- Familiarity with search technologies and their integration into AI-driven applications
