Grab's GrabFin risk team is hiring a Senior Associate for Regional Operational Risk, based on-site at the Exquadra Tower office in Ortigas, Manila, on a full-time basis. The associate helps implement the regional operational risk framework across GrabFin markets, reviewing incidents and control self-assessments, assessing risk for new business initiatives, and building risk dashboards and key risk indicator reports. The role also tests control effectiveness and promotes a risk-aware culture.
Responsibilities
- Review operational risk incidents and challenge control self-assessments to identify and strengthen controls.
- Assess risk and control gaps for new business initiatives, working with the first line of defense.
- Design regional risk profile reports and dashboards, including key risk indicators and risk heat maps.
- Back-test control effectiveness, deep-dive into weak controls, and prioritize automated mitigation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of operational risk or audit methods for wallet, payment or fintech businesses.
- Strong communication, presentation and partner management skills.
- Analytical skills with high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
