Grab is hiring an Assistant Manager for Driver Operations to direct the expansion, participation, and operational standards of the driver network in North Mindanao. This position handles both recruitment and community retention for delivery and transport services, including GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress, TNVS, Taxis, and motorcycles. The role involves managing the Grab Driver Center, executing localized acquisition plans, improving onboarding flows, and carrying out field visits to resolve ground-level hurdles. Candidates will coordinate with internal divisions like Product, Compliance, Safety, and Public Affairs, alongside handling regulatory adherence and risk mitigation. Responsibilities
- Design and execute local recruitment plans to maintain a consistent pipeline of transport and delivery drivers
- Supervise complete onboarding pipelines such as verification of documents, training, and platform activation
- Partner with central units and the Grab Driver Center to streamline support processes
- Build community ties with drivers to advocate for their needs and lift platform loyalty
- Design incentive programs and engagement campaigns to improve retention rates
- Conduct field visits to interact directly with drivers and handle operational hurdles
- Manage daily activities at driver support centers to ensure efficient inquiry and issue resolution
- Track performance indicators related to acquisition targets and engagement levels
- Collaborate across departments including Product, Compliance, Safety, and Public Affairs
- Enforce compliance with company policies and local laws while mitigating fraudulent activities
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Management, or a related discipline
- Bring at least five years of professional experience in logistics, driver management, operations, or a related sector, ideally in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrate a strong background in driver acquisition, onboarding, and community engagement
- Possess stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
- Maintain a data-driven mindset capable of analyzing trends and deploying solutions
- Show proficiency in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications
- Possess a Master's degree in a related field
- Demonstrate fluency in Tagalog or other local dialects
