This full-time on-site business intelligence role at SGS in the Philippines sits within the Customer Experience Program IT team. The senior developer designs dashboards, reports and KPIs, builds data models and semantic layers, and serves as a bridge between business and IT. The role works with Azure and data engineering teams but does not own data ingestion pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of dashboards, reports and KPIs using Power BI and similar tools.
- Define scalable data models and semantic layers that match business reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and governance, and support user acceptance testing for BI deliverables.
- Set BI standards and provide training and documentation to business users.
Requirements
- A university degree in computer science, data analytics or a related field.
- At least seven years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with proven experience designing enterprise reporting solutions.
Qualifications
- Power BI experience is preferred.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and the data lifecycle.
- Experience in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban, and fluent English.
