This position functions as the foundational servicing role for the new insurance business, operating within a cross-functional Business Insurance team that partners closely with product, engineering, design, data, sales, and licensed insurance professionals.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily servicing of the assigned book including endorsements, certificates of insurance, coverage inquiries, premium audits, billing disputes, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals
- Communicate coverage terms, exclusions, and exposures to insureds, carriers, and licensed producers using clear language
- Execute proactive outreach utilizing payroll data to identify FEIN mismatches, new-state hires, and class code drift
- Process pending cancellation and non-pay queues to determine root causes, resolve fixable issues, and secure reinstatement or replacement coverage
- Manage claims intake, report status, and coordinate hand-offs with carrier adjusting teams
- Transform recurring case patterns into product specifications alongside product and engineering teams to automate workflows
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools daily for drafting, text summarization, and triage
- Draft standard operating procedures, escalation pathways, and service standards for the team
Requirements
- Five or more years of commercial lines service experience working within an independent agency, brokerage, or carrier handling small commercial accounts end to end
- Demonstrated depth in Workers Compensation including class codes, experience modifiers, premium audits, and state-specific regulations
- Experience operating within carrier portals such as Hartford and AmTrust while coordinating with underwriting and servicing teams
- Demonstrated fluency in artificial intelligence and automation tools applied in actual service tasks
- Evidence of building or redesigning processes, workflows, or internal tools
- Possession of an active Property and Casualty producer license or willingness to secure one within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to obtain nonresident licenses across the company footprint over time
Qualifications
- Industry designations such as CISR, CIC, AAI, ACSR, or CPCU
- Multi-state or nonresident licensing already active upon application
- Background working at a digital agency, insurtech, or Managing General Agent
- Experience establishing a service function entirely from scratch
- Prior familiarity with pay-as-you-go Workers Compensation structures
