This role serves as the central technical driver within the go-to-market organization, guiding enterprise accounts from pre-sales discovery through onboarding, architecture design, and long-term expansion. The position suits quota-carrying technologists who combine deep infrastructure knowledge with AI-augmented workflows to streamline administrative tasks and focus on strategic customer solutions.

Key responsibilities involve partnering with account executives to lead technical validations, proof of concepts, architectural presentations, and customer onboarding oversight. Post-sale duties include monitoring platform health, conducting technical quarterly business reviews, and driving ongoing account growth. Travel between 20% and 50% may be required for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, map complex customer infrastructure, and define Proof of Concept success criteria
  • Deliver tailored technical presentations and architectural demonstrations to address customer security and performance challenges
  • Oversee technical onboarding and design structured migration blueprints for client environments
  • Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition, revenue retention, and ongoing account expansion
  • Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews with C-level executives to demonstrate return on investment
  • Utilize AI agents, Large Language Models, and internal tools to automate routine administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or Technical Account Management
  • Ability to white-board and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated history of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment
  • Technical depth in at least four specified areas including internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI proficiency, coding or scripting, and developer platform fluency

Qualifications

  • Track record of creating and delivering technical enablement resources such as workshops and documentation
  • Experience with Large Language Model orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, and model-access controls
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements including PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2
  • Background working at hyperscalers, digital natives, distributed systems environments, or startups
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
