Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer for Strategic Pursuits within the APAC region, based out of India in either Bangalore or Mumbai. Responsibilities
- Manage technical relationships and account strategies for a dedicated portfolio of important customers
- Partner with technical and executive leaders to connect technology choices to business results
- Design Cloudflare architectures and phased roadmaps for complex environments
- Lead discovery phases, technical validation, solution narratives, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept plans
- Collaborate with internal groups and partners to track client outcomes and address potential adoption risks
- Contribute technical insights to commercial planning to support retention, renewals, and account expansion
- Mobilize company experts around client priorities and channel feedback back to product teams
- Apply AI and internal tools to enhance analysis, research, and documentation work
- Create and distribute reusable technical resources, workshop materials, and architecture patterns
Requirements
- Significant experience in client-facing technical roles supporting large enterprise or strategic accounts
- Proven ability to build executive relationships, influence decisions, and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated skill in designing and articulating enterprise network, application, and security architectures
- Deep familiarity with the security, networking, and cloud technology landscape alongside Cloudflare products
- Strong listening, facilitation, discovery, and presentation capabilities spanning engineers to C-level executives
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, SaaS value realization, and account planning
- Availability to travel extensively for client engagements and industry functions
- Authorization to handle U.S. export-controlled software and technology without requiring sponsorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required
