Moniepoint Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its on-site team on a full-time basis. As Africa’s all-in-one financial platform and Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer, Moniepoint serves millions of businesses and individuals, processing over $250 billion in digital payment transactions every year through its subsidiaries.
This position involves creating and maintaining resilient data pipelines capable of handling massive data volumes, as well as refining the data platform to improve speed, cost-efficiency, and scalability. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to fulfill their data requirements, create analytical tools for model performance and accuracy, and resolve general data challenges.
The ideal candidate possesses at least five years of professional data engineering experience, advanced SQL skills, and proficiency in Python, git, and cloud environments like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
