Bosch is seeking a senior data scientist in Bengaluru who combines data engineering, analytics and generative AI work. The role covers PySpark and SQL pipelines on Databricks with Unity Catalog governance, automated data quality checks, GenAI and agentic AI solutions such as RAG and MCP integrations, and cloud deployments. It is a full-time, on-site position asking for 6 to 8 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Build batch and real-time ETL and ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake and Auto Loader
- Enforce access policies, lineage and PII protection through Unity Catalog
- Design LLM-based applications, agentic workflows and RAG solutions
- Mentor junior team members and present technical concepts to stakeholders
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years in data science, data engineering, AI or analytics
- Python and SQL skills, both mandatory
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Databricks Workflows, Airflow or Azure Data Factory
- Experience deploying solutions with Docker and CI/CD concepts
Qualifications
- BE or B.Tech in computer science, IT, data science, engineering, mathematics or statistics
- A master's degree is an added advantage
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Looker
