Responsibilities
- Manage the complete design lifecycle of educational programs, encompassing needs analysis, curriculum planning, creation, rollout, and assessment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject specialists to pinpoint performance gaps and translate them into measurable objectives.
- Develop learning journeys utilizing live, digital, blended, and self-directed formats grounded in learning science.
- Build instructional materials such as eLearning modules, facilitator manuals, participant toolkits, job aids, presentations, and micro-learning content.
- Apply visual design and storytelling to produce engaging materials that align with the organizational culture.
- Construct interactive digital programs using AI-assisted workflows alongside tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate.
- Create inclusive educational experiences that minimize participation barriers and champion a sense of belonging.
- Test and refine programs using data gathered from participant feedback, stakeholder input, and performance metrics.
- Establish success criteria to evaluate knowledge transfer, learning effectiveness, and behavior modification.
- Handle multiple educational projects simultaneously while organizing priorities, timelines, and expectations.
- Investigate emerging learning technologies like adaptive learning and AI authoring to enhance participant engagement.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of five years of professional instructional design experience.
- Submit a portfolio showcasing work across multiple learning formats.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of learning science principles including cognitive load, retrieval practice, and adult learning theory.
- Show proficiency in rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, or Lectora.
- Demonstrate experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly and collaborate smoothly with cross-functional partners and leaders.
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in instructional design, learning sciences, education, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
