Job Description

MedReview provides payment integrity solutions to national and regional health plans and other healthcare organizations, and has worked in the field for more than four decades. Its technology-enabled services aim to find savings, improve operational efficiency and support provider relationships. This full-time, remote Senior Director of Account Management role leads day-to-day management of the company's largest and most complex enterprise client relationships.

The director serves as the primary relationship leader for assigned enterprise clients and builds ties across executive, operational, financial and technical contacts. The role keeps account plans, stakeholder maps and governance calendars current, coordinates communication across client business units and MedReview teams, and runs regular governance meetings, executive briefings and quarterly business reviews.

The director keeps watch on SLA results, deliverables, open issues and client promises, and acts as the first senior point of coordination for complex problems. Major risks go up to the VP of Account Management. The job also involves tracking claims aging and recovery work with Operations, Product, Finance and Technology, plus finding add-on sales and new-solution openings and supporting renewals and pricing discussions.

The director guides Account Managers on strategy, business reviews and account planning, leads cross-functional account teams, and brings client feedback to product and leadership. Within roughly a year or two, success looks like stronger relationships, clear governance, better visibility into account health and more qualified expansion. The posting asks for a bachelor's degree and at least eight years of progressive experience. The salary range is $155,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience.

  • Develop account strategies focused on retention, satisfaction, measurable value and growth
  • Run regular governance meetings, executive briefings and quarterly business reviews
  • Report on results, savings, service standards, financial outcomes and risks
  • Oversee SLA performance, deliverables and client commitments across enterprise accounts
  • Coordinate tough client problems and push major risks up to the VP of Account Management
  • Track claims aging, recovery execution and payment matters that affect outcomes
  • Spot and move forward expansion options such as add-on sales and new solutions
  • Guide Account Managers and lead cross-functional account teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Eight or more years in progressive roles: revenue cycle, managed care, payment integrity, client success, account management, healthcare operations or healthcare technology
  • Track record handling big, intricate or enterprise healthcare accounts that involve many stakeholders
  • Experience leading executive meetings, business reviews and complex issue resolution
  • Familiar with healthcare claims work, payment integrity, payer operations and reimbursement
  • Strong business and financial judgment
  • Able to sway colleagues in a matrixed setup where formal authority is absent
  • Comfort with CRM systems, slide decks, spreadsheets and client reporting software

Qualifications

  • Experience with national health plans or large payer organizations
  • Experience juggling several products, divisions or agreements inside one client relationship
  • Experience with tech-driven healthcare services or software-as-a-service offerings
