Responsibilities
- Manage a group of senior engineers creating next-generation media processing stacks
- Establish technical architecture decisions for high-throughput, low-latency media systems
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to form technical roadmaps

Requirements

- Deep comprehension of systems design, cloud infrastructure, and microservice architecture
- Experience handling technical tradeoffs between scalability, reliability, and feature development
- Track record of delivering critical infrastructure projects featuring technical complexity
- Experience improving developer velocity via AI tools
- Knowledge of operational excellence, reliability engineering, and performance optimization
- Communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with at least one of the following: streaming technologies, media processing, real-time communications systems, or related fields
Qualifications
- Experience with RTP/RTCP, SIP, or other communications protocols
- Familiarity with audio processing, media codecs, transcoding, and packet loss concealment
- Background creating low-latency and globally distributed systems
