The role centers on execution, meaning the chosen candidate will take charge of complex tasks from inception to completion, build production features rapidly, and collaborate closely with product management and design partners.

This position suits a hands-on technical professional who prefers practical problem-solving and immediate action over prolonged analysis. The individual will work within a small, senior group to implement language models, manage architecture choices, and remove technical roadblocks. Applicants must be comfortable coding the majority of their time while coordinating smoothly across multiple cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and launch production features utilizing large language models to address customer needs
  • Integrate and set up language models including handling prompts, tool loops, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Make pragmatic architectural decisions and resolve complex technical hurdles to maintain progress
  • Partner with product and design teams to shape project scope, refine concepts, and iterate on end-to-end features
  • Collaborate alongside engineering colleagues to integrate with existing infrastructure and resolve dependencies
  • Write dependable, clean, and well-tested code that scales efficiently and deploys swiftly
  • Engage actively with role-relevant AI tools and build fluency as the technology advances

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software engineering background creating and releasing production products or platforms
  • Practical background applying LLM-powered features such as agents, RAG flows, tool loops, or language model workflow automation
  • Strong coding abilities centered around APIs, services, and data flows, with a preference for spending most time writing code
  • Experience managing or heavily contributing to team execution tasks like Jira, sprints, scoping, and cross-functional work
  • Familiarity working with React or comparable libraries, and Ruby on Rails or a similar language
