Responsibilities
- Manage a team of senior engineers focused on building next-generation media processing stacks

Requirements
- Minimum of five years of engineering management experience leading distributed systems teams
- Understanding of Voice and VoIP infrastructure along with media handling complexities
- Background in architecting, building, and operating scalable backend services under strict service-level objectives
- Expertise in systems design, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure
- Proven history of delivering complex technical infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in performance optimization, operational excellence, and reliability engineering
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Familiarity with SIP, RTP, RTCP, and other communications protocols
- Knowledge of media codecs, transcoding, audio processing, and packet loss concealment
- Experience constructing low-latency, globally distributed systems
- Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, Java, or C and C++, or platforms like Asterisk and gStreamer
- Background in developing Voice AI products
- Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure platforms
- Prior background in telecommunications or communication platforms
