Liftoff operates an AI-driven performance marketing platform supporting the mobile app economy by connecting app publishers and marketers across more than seventy countries. The Strategic Finance group currently seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Deal Desk team on a remote basis. In this capacity, the professional will operate cross-functionally with analytics, sales, accounting, and corporate FP&A to oversee commercial agreements ranging from standard contracts to complex arrangements with strategic advertising partners.
This position fits a self-motivated individual who demonstrates strong confidentiality and good judgment while operating independently. Responsibilities include managing weekly financial tracking files, building predictive models for revenue performance, designing customer-facing incentive structures, and integrating complex deals into financial forecasts. The person in this role will analyze operational drivers, partner with the accounting team on timely accruals, and maintain the primary KPI file utilized for strategic planning and board meetings.
Candidates must possess extensive spreadsheet proficiency and five or more years of relevant finance experience. Liftoff operates under a remote-first approach with expectations for periodic in-person gatherings and requires this team member to work during Pacific time zone hours, with San Francisco Bay Area residency highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial spreadsheets tracking customer incentive programs and associated revenue adjustments.
- Collaborate with the go-to-market organization to design financial incentives for customers that encourage incremental revenue.
- Conduct post-mortem assessments quarterly to evaluate the effectiveness of financial incentives and strategic outcomes.
- Perform strategic financial modeling to support leadership decisions and evaluate company initiatives.
- Partner with the accounting department during monthly and quarterly close cycles to ensure accurate accruals and revenue adjustments.
- Own the primary company KPI file to maintain accurate metrics for board meetings and strategic reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets with robust financial modeling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously across stakeholders.
- Availability to work during Pacific time zone hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably focused on Finance or a related discipline.
- Prior professional background in corporate development, accounting, investment banking, strategy, consulting, deal desk, or a finance development program.
- Familiarity with financial statements, valuation principles, and accounting concepts.
- Experience utilizing data visualization applications such as Tableau, Looker, or Salesforce.
