The Financial Reporting & Control division manages key financial reports and maintains controls to protect the financial integrity of the organization.
The organization is currently hiring a Senior Financial Controller to assist the EU Head of Finance in establishing and directing the core finance function for Tide Platform SA. This position handles financial accounting, management information, treasury, tax, and statutory or regulatory reporting. It is a hands-on position suited for a professional who can demonstrate strong autonomy and navigate a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete financial close and accounting cycle under Lux GAAP and UK GAAP while upholding balance sheet integrity
- Perform monthly balance sheet substantiation and maintain internal controls
- Develop financial controls and standard operating procedures for a regulated Payment Institution
- Participate in the Risk and Compliance Committee as a finance representative
- Gather financial figures to compile corporation tax filings in accordance with regulations
- Oversee external partners including statutory auditors, tax advisers, and local fiduciaries
- Handle multi-jurisdictional tax compliance for corporate income tax, withholding tax, and VAT
- Improve financial workflows, leverage SAP, and eliminate manual bottlenecks through automation
Requirements
- Over 8 years of finance background covering month-end and year-end close, Statutory GAAP reporting, and audits in fintech or regulated financial services
- Expertise in technical accounting and Statutory GAAPs alongside practical SAP usage
- Experience managing external professional service providers, tax advisers, and auditors
- Proven ability to construct scalable controls, standard operating procedures, and automated workflows independently
