Reddit is recruiting a Senior Growth Manager on a remote contract basis to join its International Community team. Reddit runs a platform built around user-created communities, with well over 100,000 active ones and about 130 million daily visitors. Applicants must live in the United Kingdom or on the East Coast of the US.
This is a growth position, not a marketing one. The manager would design and run experiments that strengthen community and user ecosystems in the US and abroad. Possible projects include launching and expanding communities, boosting the amount and quality of contributions, reaching audiences who are currently underserved, and making the experience better for people already on the platform. Successful tests would become playbooks other markets can adopt, and the manager would judge which elements travel well and which need local tailoring.
Measurement is part of the role. The manager would follow indicators such as daily active users, contribution volume, content supply, community health and retention, and build frameworks for judging experiments and programs. Regular collaboration runs across the Product and Data Science groups, along with Marketing and Community, and proposals need evidence behind them. Applicants should bring more than seven years spent in market expansion, product operations or user growth, along with a history of running growth efforts at scale. Spreadsheet modeling, practical SQL, and the judgment to weigh opportunities across the US and other markets are expected. Responsibilities
