Bosch seeks a Senior iOS Developer to design, create, and support advanced iOS applications utilizing Swift and Objective-C. This full-time on-site position involves partnering with multidisciplinary teams to plan, build, and deliver new features while optimizing application performance, quality, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, maintain code organization and automation, conduct unit testing for robustness, and integrate APIs alongside third-party libraries. Furthermore, this role requires participating in code reviews, adopting emerging technologies to improve development efficiency, and staying informed about modern architectural patterns and industry trends in mobile development.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain advanced iOS platform applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve overall performance
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency
- Perform unit testing for robustness, edge cases, usability, and reliability
- Work with APIs and third-party libraries
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
- Stay current with the latest trends, architectural patterns, and best practices in iOS development
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C with a strong preference for Swift
- In-depth understanding of the iOS SDK, Cocoa Touch, and UIKit framework
- Experience integrating and working with core iOS communication frameworks
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and VIPER
- Experience with RESTful APIs connecting iOS applications to backend services
- Strong understanding of memory management, threading, and performance optimization for iOS apps
- Six to eight years of professional experience
Qualifications
- B.E or B.Tech degree from a reputed college or university
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Sketch
