Chime is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to join its Controllership team and help lead external financial reporting. In this remote, full-time role, the professional will own the creation and review of public company filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, alongside statutory reporting and equity accounting. The position requires acting as a technical accounting resource for the organization and collaborating closely with Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, Stock Administration, and external auditors.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual SEC filings such as Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K
- Manage the reporting calendar, disclosure checklists, XBRL tagging, and tie-out files across multiple departments
- Handle equity accounting under ASC 718 for RSUs, options, and ESPP including modifications and non-routine activity
- Prepare and review statutory and regulatory financial statements and filings
- Develop scalable intercompany accounting processes and reporting for a multi-entity structure
- Review month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for equity and reporting areas
- Maintain SOX-compliant accounting policies, processes, and internal controls while automating manual tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on background preparing and reviewing Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K
- Demonstrated ownership of stock-based compensation accounting
- Experience with intercompany and statutory reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Familiarity with using AI tools to improve accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Big 4 public accounting background preferred
- CPA preferred with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules Regulation S-X and S-K
- Prior experience with Workiva, NetSuite, and Shareworks
