The company is currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Finance Systems for a remote position based in Canada. In this role, the candidate will oversee the strategy, setup, and improvement of core finance platforms, beginning with NetSuite and expanding into Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Systems, this position requires an individual who can balance hands-on system configuration with technical resource management.

Key responsibilities include creating scalable solutions, setting best practices for data integrity and system security, and fostering a data-driven culture within the finance department. Responsibilities
- Lead the structure and vision for the Finance Systems function, defining team roles and growth paths
- Design and optimize tools, methodologies, and processes for NetSuite and other financial systems
- Establish and enforce best practices regarding system configuration, security, data integrity, user management, testing, and deployment
- Guide internal and external technical resources handling SuiteScript development, API integrations, and technical requirements
- Promote data-driven reporting and analysis within the finance organization to support decision-making
Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience managing or leading projects within finance systems in a fast-paced growth environment
- 7 or more years of functional and process experience with core finance systems across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, procurement, and order management
- Extensive hands-on experience in NetSuite administration and configuration
- Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and translating functional needs into technical specifications
Qualifications
- Background working in mid-sized, high-growth businesses
- NetSuite Administrator certification
- Employment history within a manufacturing organization
- Exposure to Procure-to-Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report systems
- Experience managing both internal and external technical resources
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Looker or Hex
