Swiggy seeks a Senior Manager of Growth for its Swiggy Food business in Bengaluru. This position focuses on expanding operations across more than 700 Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities known as India Next, targeting a two-percentage-point increase in conversion by the end of March. The professional stepping into this role will handle city-level conversion initiatives, regulate discounting and delivery-fee mechanics in real time, formulate strategies against competitor activity, and deploy fresh growth experiments.
The role requires driving generative artificial intelligence adoption within the team to accelerate insights and interventions. The person will collaborate extensively with city leadership, Product, Data Science, Business Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams. Key areas of ownership include managing funnel metrics, delivery-fee revenue per order, Project Compass, restaurant strengthening, and customer experience improvements.

Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end conversion goal and delivery-fee revenue growth without harming conversion rates
- Run Project Compass to establish city conversion targets, determine key drivers, and implement interventions with local teams
- Collaborate with Product on search, payment methods, and cash-on-delivery demand shaping
- Drive Swiggy One adoption and evaluate its conversion impact in India Next cities
- Address customer experience and operational stress gaps including serviceability and last-mile capping
- Optimize funnel metrics such as search relevance, menu relevance, and slot conversions for breakfast and late-night
- Control cancellation, return-to-dark-store, and order-to-acceptance rates through item availability and cash-on-delivery controls
- Balance delivery-fee realization and fee tiers against conversion impact
- Oversee cross-functional growth projects from scoping to rollout with Product, Engineering, and Data Science
- Maximize incremental orders per rupee of discount and delivery-fee spend
- Execute non-discount and restaurant strengthening tactics to prevent churn and counter competitors
- Configure delivery fees, free-delivery strategies, rain fees, platform fees, and Black Zones
- Handle stress events, supply-state changes, and real-time pricing responses
- Manage competitor intelligence coverage using D-Score data to steer city discounting and pricing counter-strategies
- Identify growth opportunities across cities and categories, running rapid pilots to test concepts
- Lead generative artificial intelligence use cases across growth charters including self-serve dashboards and root-cause analysis copilots
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel for independent data modeling and extraction
- Hands-on generative artificial intelligence experience building large language model workflows, copilots, or automated systems
- Three to six years of professional experience in growth, strategy, category management, or analytics
- Prior ownership of a discount, pricing, or conversion lever with measurable business impact
- Experience in experiment design including incrementality reads, pilots, and A/B tests
- Demonstrated ability to ship fixes rapidly under real-time pressure
- Clear communication abilities suited for interacting with city leaders and senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience with Python, automation tools, or dashboarding software such as Tableau, Looker, or Streamlit
- Familiarity with Bharat markets or Tier 2 and Tier 3 city operations
- Exposure to pricing strategy, delivery-fee mechanics, or competitive intelligence
- Background from a Tier-1 engineering institution or Master of Business Administration program
