Job Description
Wpromote is a digital marketing agency with a remote-first culture and physical offices in the Los Angeles and New York areas. The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships works within a team that builds ties with providers in media, tech, measurement, AI and new-platform categories, and turns those ties into client work and internal capabilities.
The role reports to the Vice President of Media Investment and manages a set of relationships spanning media and tech providers. The manager sets relationship plans for priority partners, keeps the partner matrix and opportunity pipeline current, and decides which companies deserve strategic status and which should stay transactional. Negotiating commercial terms and introducing new capabilities inside the company before they turn into market norms are part of the job.
Areas to explore include creator marketing, brand safety, email and SMS, measurement with incrementality, identity, AI search, retail media and media automation. The manager also handles internal enablement, such as partner training, directories and resource hubs, and co-marketing on research, content, awards and events.
Applicants should bring five or more years in partnerships, business development or marketing technology, a strong grasp of the ad and martech landscape, and the ability to manage several partners at once. The role calls for translating complex products into client value and working with product, media, data, strategy and leadership teams.
