In this role, the selected candidate will support a prominent European retailer in enhancing their consumer e-shopping experience by joining a dedicated release testing team.
The position suits an experienced professional who can serve as a quality gate, coordinate validation phases, and collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities involve overseeing test planning, conducting manual testing, managing defects, and mentoring junior to mid-level quality assurance engineers.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define test objectives and align on quality goals
- Design, organize, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases using management tools
- Perform system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing while promoting best practices
- Conduct root cause analysis, resolve issues with development teams, and communicate risks
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level quality assurance engineers
- Collaborate with other quality assurance teams to improve tools and workflows
- Support user acceptance testing activities through training, coordination, and facilitating client sign-off
- Create and maintain detailed test reports, release notes, and documentation across all test lifecycle phases
Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Have experience with application programming interface testing using tools like Postman
- Bring hands-on experience with test management platforms such as JIRA, X-Ray, Azure, TestRail, and Aqua
- Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve test failures
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms
- Regularly use artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity and support decision-making
- Understand Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms within a team-oriented environment
