Accesa is hiring a remote Technical Lead with React to support a leading technology provider in the retail sector that builds modern store operations and point-of-sale solutions. Operating for 20 years with offices in Cluj-Napoca and Oradea, Accesa brings together over 1,200 IT professionals to deliver software development and managed services across multiple industries including manufacturing, finance, banking, and retail.
This role suits an independent and self-driven professional who wants to guide frontend architecture, mentor developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will define coding standards, oversee solution performance, handle technical estimations, and communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders in business terms. The position requires regular and responsible utilization of artificial intelligence tools to automate repetitive tasks, boost productivity, support decision-making processes, and enhance final outcomes. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client technical leadership to establish and maintain the frontend architecture, including state management, rendering strategy, frameworks, and micro-frontends or monoliths
- Establish coding conventions, review practices, linting rules, testing strategies, and the definition of done for all frontend deliverables
- Monitor and set benchmarks for solution accessibility, security, cross-browser compatibility, device support, and overall performance
- Break down epics technically, provide estimations, identify risks early, and unblock team members during sprints
- Represent the frontend perspective when communicating with backend, API, architecture, QA, and UX teams
- Coach developers, run technical sessions, assist with hiring and onboarding, and foster seniority within the team
- Maintain a visible technical debt backlog and plan necessary software migrations and upgrades
- Explain technical decisions, associated risks, and strategic trade-offs to management and clients using business terms
Requirements
- Extensive experience working with React
- Extensive experience working with TypeScript
- Extensive experience working with GraphQL
- Familiarity with CSS-in-JS solutions such as PandaCSS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage proactively in discussions
- Independent, self-driven approach to work requiring autonomy and ownership of tasks and decisions
- Regular, responsible use of AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, improve productivity, and validate outputs critically
Qualifications
- Experience working with Node.js
- Experience utilizing Headless CMS platforms, with a preference for Contentful
- Experience with Playwright
