Job Description
Ebury is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer working on React Native, joining its Mobile Platform team in Valencia. The role is hybrid, with four days in the office and one day at home each week. The team builds features, services and frameworks that let Ebury's product teams ship mobile features quickly and independently while keeping one consistent experience for customers.
The engineer owns the mobile app across its lifecycle, from initial design and build through QA, release and upkeep. The listing describes full ownership: whoever builds a feature also keeps it running. The work is shared with colleagues in several countries, along with product owners, data teams and designers. The team mainly uses Python, React, React Native and TypeScript, and deployment runs through Expo pipelines, which the engineer may need to contribute to.
The role includes building standard APIs, adding monitoring and alerting, integrating external systems, and keeping code highly testable with good coverage. The position is on-call. The listing also asks for curiosity, a willingness to challenge assumptions, and a data-informed focus on solving customer problems.
