Job Description
Deliveroo's Commercial division is seeking a Senior Onboarding Associate for its Middle East Partner Onboarding unit in Dubai. The job is full time and on-site, supporting incoming restaurant, ODC and retail merchants in the UAE and Kuwait. The associate guides each partner from the moment an agreement is signed until the business goes live, organizing every stage and keeping merchants updated so launches stay on schedule.
Most communication runs through asynchronous channels, with phone contact available if a partner prefers it. Typical duties include finishing account administration, arranging menu and catalogue builds, chasing outstanding information, and scheduling tablet shipment, setup and staff training with internal colleagues. The associate also works through complicated onboarding problems until they are settled, keeps onboarding trackers current, and passes live partners to the designated NPX or Account Manager.
The ideal person can run onboarding alone, juggle several merchants at different phases, and talk clearly while tailoring detail to each partner. Precision matters when editing systems, menus, catalogues and trackers. The associate works alongside Sales, Menu, Operations and account teams in more than one market.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the onboarding path for new merchants from signed deal to go-live.
- Finish admin configuration and organize menu or catalogue production, chasing any missing details.
- Coordinate tablet dispatch, installation and staff training with internal teams and merchant contacts.
- Respond to partner questions about admin, menus and catalogues via their preferred channel.
- Investigate complicated onboarding problems and keep merchants and stakeholders informed until closure.
- Collaborate with Sales and Menu colleagues on queries about freshly signed partners, absent content and setup needs.
- Keep trackers accurate, pass live partners on to the NPX or Account Manager who owns them, and circulate good practice across the UAE and Kuwait.
Requirements
- Capable of running onboarding or operations workflows independently to completion.
- Organized and able to rank priorities across many merchants at varying stages.
- Service-minded and solutions-driven when handling merchant questions, obstacles and escalations.
- Careful when verifying merchant details before changing systems, menu files, catalogues and trackers.
- Clear in writing and in conversation, adjusting channel and depth to suit each merchant.
- Comfortable working alongside Sales, Menu, Operations and client-account staff in several markets.
Qualifications
- Capacity to pick up CRM, knowledge-base and phone-system software. Prior exposure is useful but not necessary.
