ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Principal Solution Architect specializing in Security and Risk to operate within a remote work arrangement. ServiceNow provides an AI platform designed to integrate workflow automation, data, and artificial intelligence for corporate clients, supporting a large portion of the Fortune 500.
This senior principal position functions as both a technical and functional expert who collaborates directly with clients to deploy ServiceNow Security and Risk solutions in alignment with established standards and best practices. The role involves guiding sales cycles, engaging executive leadership such as CXOs, providing architectural direction, and acting as practice director for major accounts. Candidates will also mentor internal delivery teams, share best practices across the partner ecosystem, and travel annually up to 20 percent of the time based on internal meetings and client needs.
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 262,000 per year, along with variable or incentive compensation, equity when applicable, health plans, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company matching, employee stock purchase plans, matching donations, flexible time away plans, and family leave programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales tasks such as sales presentations, scope definition workshops, effort estimations, and statements of work development.
- Connect Security and Risk workflow applications to client technology infrastructures while offering governance guidance.
- Engage executive leadership regarding implementation roadmaps and change management strategies.
- Collaborate with Platform Architect teams to identify potential platform risks within client environments.
- Manage delivery teams and maintain delivery standard adherence as practice director on key accounts.
- Design and implement technical architectures for Security and Risk solutions following company standards.
- Publish standardized solutions for recurring use cases to benefit consultants and community members.
- Build relationships with product stakeholders to increase awareness of capabilities and roadmaps.
- Host office hours, webinars, and educational events for field delivery stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of delivery materials alongside Customer and Partner Excellence teams.
- Mentor ServiceNow delivery personnel and partner networks while producing documentation and service offerings.
Requirements
- Possemess 12 years or more of professional services background or equivalent education and experience.
- Bring at least 8 years of consulting or configuration background involving complex technology implementations like integrations and portals.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience deploying ServiceNow Security and Risk products.
- Demonstrate familiarity with risk and regulatory frameworks including FFIEC, DORA, SEC, OCC, SOX, and NIST CSF.
- Show working knowledge of cross-functional domains including CMDB, asset management, service management, and ITOM modules.
- Fulfill certification requirements including CIS-RC, CIS-VR, and CSA on day one, and CIS-TPRM, CIS-SIR, and Certified Application Developer within 90 days.
Qualifications
- Hold a Certified Technical Architect credential on day one or acquire it within the first 365 days.
- Achieve working proficiency in CMDB Fundamentals within 90 days of employment.
