Robinhood is recruiting a Senior Product Designer for its Crypto team. Work is anchored in the Menlo Park, California and New York, New York offices, with on-site presence needed at least three days each week. The Crypto team shapes the whole crypto experience on Robinhood, from a customer's first purchase to active trading and onchain products that connect the centralized and decentralized sides of finance.
The designer leads the planning and build-out of retail crypto trading flows and assists with onchain features. The work mixes big speculative bets with careful, incremental refinement that makes existing products quicker, clearer and more dependable. Collaboration spans engineering, product, compliance and legal teams, and the designer helps chart where retail crypto should head over the long run.
Responsibilities include driving retail crypto product direction and turning complex concepts into intuitive experiences for both first-time users and experienced crypto users. Robinhood describes design as AI-first, so the designer relies on AI to survey options, catch corner cases and build prototypes while setting direction, structure and quality. The designer also helps raise the craft standard across the crypto team.

Responsibilities
- Set product design direction for retail crypto, weighing bold new ideas against steady improvements to core screens
- Partner day to day with engineers, product managers, design leads, legal and compliance from the first concept through release
- Turn complex concepts into usable experiences for first-time users and experienced crypto users
- Lean on AI to survey options, catch corner cases and prototype fast
- Raise the craft level of every design produced by the crypto group
Requirements
- Robust product design background across intricate, mass-market products, owning them end to end
- Active use of AI as part of the design workflow
- Solid systems thinking that balances detail with the bigger picture
- Experience operating among product, research, legal, compliance and engineering staff in a strict regulatory setting
- A strong bias for action and the ability to keep moving through ambiguity
