Hostaway is seeking a Senior Product Manager to guide the strategy and implementation for its core product domain. Hostaway provides an AI-driven vacation rental management platform relied upon by more than 20,000 property managers globally to streamline operations and accelerate business expansion. Operating as a profitable, high-growth entity and the initial short-term rental PMS unicorn, the enterprise is currently in a dynamic expansion phase.
This fully remote position requires the post holder to reside within the EMEA region to facilitate effective collaboration with peers, internal stakeholders, and the wider team. The role centers on managing the primary platform interface that clients utilize at the start of each day to configure rates, adjust calendar dates, establish stay rules, and construct property listings distributed across external sales channels. The individual will spearhead the product vision, roadmap, and execution surrounding pricing, availability, and listing content. Responsibilities involve partnering with engineering, design, data, and channel connection groups to design reliable workflows. Additionally, the appointee will use AI tools to drive concepts from initial discovery and prototyping through to final delivery alongside engineers.
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and execution for pricing, availability, and listing content within the core platform domain
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and channel connection teams to deliver reliable user experiences
- Drive continuous discovery as a standard operating method
- Utilize AI tooling to take ideas from discovery and prototyping to shipped products alongside engineers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in B2B software, ideally for professional users who interact with the product all day
- Experience overseeing a broad product area featuring multiple connected workflows rather than a single standalone feature
- Ability to simplify complex systems and manage disparate behaviors across external platforms
- Familiarity with building using AI as part of daily workflows, including moving from concepts to clickable or working prototypes with AI coding tools
- Technical fluency to work confidently with engineers regarding APIs and integrations
- Sound judgment concerning trade-offs and resilience in maintaining products depended upon by customers
Qualifications
- Background in travel, hospitality, vacation rentals, or marketplaces
- Previous work related to pricing, rates, distribution, inventory, properties, rooms, vehicles, or equipment
