This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru at Bosch is for a senior Python developer building backend services and code-generation tools for the MASAR backend team. The developer applies object-oriented design and SOLID principles, writes unit and integration tests with PyTest, and works in Agile Scrum teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain reusable, scalable backend services and code-generation components in Python.
- Write unit and integration tests with PyTest and keep test coverage high.
- Use Git for branching, reviews and pull requests, and integrate Jenkins CI/CD workflows.
- Take part in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Advanced Python proficiency, including building structured CLI or backend services.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Expert-level unit testing with PyTest, and experience with Git workflows and Jenkins.
- Proven experience with automated code generation templates, parsers or backend compilers.
Qualifications
- A B.E. or B.Tech in E&C or EEE, with 8+ years of experience in Python tools development and GenAI.
- Good to have: Python and Angular development experience, and familiarity with GenAI-based test automation.
