Job Description
Canonical is hiring Sales Operations leaders and seasoned analysts to build and manage revenue operations across online, direct, alliance and channel-partner sales. The roles are full-time and remote, aligned to the EMEA and Americas regions. Sales Operations teams study how to keep customers, and they set up repeatable routines for planning, managing and delivering revenue. The post works with sales leaders, business development, customer success, marketing and product staff, plus commercial systems staff, delivery leads, finance and legal colleagues.
Duties cover precise, scalable revenue operations across direct, indirect and online routes; guiding and coaching a group of revenue operations analysts; giving day-to-day process and policy help to sellers and partners; and overseeing sales engagement, enablement, data enrichment, CRM, quoting, analytics and commissions. The holder tracks metrics on leads, pipeline, sales velocity, productivity and renewals, uses data to steer territories and channels, works with the commercial systems team on sales technology and automation, introduces new products, pricing and bundles, improves data quality, runs the commercial review process, and owns the commission plan including goal setting and payouts.
The post wants analytical, detail-minded leaders who can operate under commercial pressure, influence senior executives and keep raising standards for processes, systems, governance and data accuracy. Canonical notes that most staff have worked from home since 2004, and describes itself as profitable and growing.
