Wrapbook is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join its Business Systems team on a remote basis across the USA and Canada. Wrapbook operates as an artificial intelligence platform focused on production finance, serving clients across television, feature films, and commercials with backing from major investors and a team exceeding 350 employees.
In this role, the engineer will create internal software supporting client operations, sales, and marketing through full-stack development that encompasses APIs, backend services, interfaces, and data pipelines. The position involves building and integrating within the Salesforce platform, utilizing agentic coding tools, and incorporating artificial intelligence features into products. The ideal candidate prefers collaborating directly with operators to redesign workflows rather than waiting for static requirements documents, and possesses experience operating as an early-stage engineer or within small, versatile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end internal applications and services with a focus on maintainability and clean architecture
- Construct and integrate APIs across sales engagement, marketing automation, telephony, support, and business intelligence stacks
- Develop and oversee data pipelines that supply reporting and operational systems
- Extend and maintain the Salesforce platform utilizing Apex, Flows, and Lightning Web Components
- Design artificial intelligence native workflows and agents equipped with human-in-the-loop controls and production guardrails
Requirements
- Possess five or more years of hands-on software engineering experience, preferably within full-stack, backend, or systems domains
- Demonstrate fluency in at least one or two modern programming languages such as JavaScript or Python
- Show experience utilizing agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
- Display fluency in SQL along with strong data architecture skills covering data modeling, schema design, and pipelines
- Demonstrate the ability to build usable internal user interfaces
- Show experience designing API integrations with attention to error handling, data fidelity, and schema mapping
- Have built or integrated with Salesforce using APIs, Flows, and Apex
- Manage the complete development lifecycle from initial requirements through release, UAT, and ongoing iteration
Qualifications
- Experience in project-based or entertainment industries
- Telephony integration experience such as Zoom Contact Center
