The organization is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on JavaScript and ad technology experience to join its remote team.
This position requires a deep understanding of the header bidding ecosystem, client-side monetization, and programmatic advertising. The person in this role will function as a technical authority on Prebid and header bidding, maintaining end-to-end ownership of the header bidding wrapper. Responsibilities include writing production code daily, reviewing pull requests, managing wrapper architecture, and ensuring high performance across thousands of publisher websites.
The role suits a problem solver who lives and boasts extensive experience in ad tech, understands auction lifecycles, and can operate with a high degree of autonomy in a distributed team environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with Google Ad Manager, managing Core Web Vitals, and deploying high-throughput services.
Responsibilities
- Write and ship production code daily and review peer pull requests
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Prebid.js and Prebid Server
- Own the header bidding wrapper end to end, including design and architecture decisions
- Monitor and protect Core Web Vitals, performance, memory usage, and script execution time on publisher sites
- Manage deployments and maintain the reliability of solutions in production
Requirements
- 4+ years of JavaScript development experience with substantial TypeScript skills
- Deep hands-on expertise with Prebid.js configuration, bid adapters, and modules
- In-depth knowledge of the ad tech auction lifecycle
- Experience with Prebid Server stored requests and server-side adapter configuration
- Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager, GPT, line-item architecture, and dynamic allocation
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery
- Fluency in ad tech standards including OpenRTB, SSP/DSP integrations, consent frameworks, and video integration

- Contributions to Prebid.js or Prebid Server open-source repositories
