The company is currently hiring a Software Engineer for its Growth team, covering full-stack, backend, and frontend openings across product squads. In this capacity, you will tackle core user journeys ranging from initial merchant onboarding to long-term platform engagement and retention. Working closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketers, you will design experiments, analyze customer behavior, and drive key marketplace metrics.
This position suits engineers who enjoy combining technical execution with product strategy within a fast-paced environment. You will own significant parts of the retailer experience, utilizing modern tech stacks including React, TypeScript, Kotlin, Java, and AWS infrastructure. Success in the role means launching iterative growth experiments, improving performance and reliability standards, and helping shape the strategic roadmap for merchant acquisition and retention.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-impact initiatives focusing on retailer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Design, build, and iterate on growth experiments that influence critical business metrics.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, Analytics, and Marketing to identify opportunities and execute strategies.
- Partner with Marketing to optimize campaigns, paid spend, and marketing technology.
- Analyze customer data and experiment results to guide future technical investments.
- Develop scalable systems and user experiences supporting platform expansion.
- Contribute to technical strategy while preserving high standards for quality, performance, and reliability.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Possess strong experience building backend systems or modern frontend applications.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering customer-facing products with measurable outcomes.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Show comfort working in fast-moving, highly cross-functional settings.
Qualifications
- Background working with growth, experimentation, marketplace, or consumer product teams.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
- Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation platforms.
- Experience developing products at significant scale.
- Previous work involving marketing or paid spend optimization.
