Cross River seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Lending team to build scalable applications and backend systems. This role suits an experienced developer with a strong background in object-oriented programming, modern software design patterns, and SOLID principles. The position requires taking ownership of tasks and working effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The salary offered for this full-time remote position ranges from USD 160,000 to USD 200,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and release scalable software components and modules
- Construct backend systems utilizing .NET 10, Python, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Docker, and AWS
- Organize, triage, and prioritize tasks
Requirements
- At least six years of professional experience building enterprise applications utilizing Python or C#
- Minimum of four years of experience working with SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Entity Framework or nHibernate
- Strong communication abilities
Qualifications
- Background working with NoSQL databases
- Knowledge or practical experience applying Domain Driven Design
- Familiarity with Cloud Architecture, specifically AWS
- Experience utilizing Docker and containers
- Background or familiarity with the financial industry or accounting
- Experience building distributed systems and event driven architecture
- Familiarity with Idempotency, RabbitMQ, and MassTransit or NServiceBus
