Job Description
JumpCloud is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join their team in a remote capacity across the United States. JumpCloud offers an AI-powered unified IT management platform that consolidates identity, device, and access management to help organizations secure modern workforces.
In this role, you will act as a key technical advisor guiding enterprise customers through complex migrations from legacy identity systems to the JumpCloud Open Directory Platform. You will lead technical workshops, design architectures, and establish deployment roadmaps while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Product.
Over the course of the employment lifecycle, responsibilities evolve from managing initial Professional Services engagements and directory cutovers to handling high-complexity enterprise projects, creating technical documentation, and mentoring newer team members. This position is well-suited for professionals experienced in enterprise identity architecture who enjoy solving complex architectural challenges within a high-growth cloud identity company.
Responsibilities
- Guide enterprise customers through complex directory migrations and adopt the JumpCloud Open Directory Platform
- Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to define migration milestones and architectural roadmaps
- Execute hands-on technical deployments and directory cutovers involving Active Directory, Okta, and Google Workspace
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Product teams
- Contribute technical documentation, guides, and internal process updates based on customer engagements
- Mentor newer team members and participate in go-to-market technical enablement
Requirements
- Experience in enterprise identity architecture design and technical discovery facilitation for large-scale environments
- Proven track record executing end-to-end directory migrations and automated JML functions
- Implementation expertise in authentication and provisioning protocols including SAML 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, JIT, and RADIUS
- Multi-OS device management and policy deployment across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android
- Strong technical communication and analytical problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft enterprise ecosystems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Intune, Microsoft 365, and AVD
- Knowledge of enterprise identity governance, zero-trust security frameworks, and network authentication mechanisms like SSH, SMB/Samba, and Kerberos
- Familiarity with Professional Services delivery methodologies and adoption tracking
- Experience with identity providers, MDM tools, scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash, and REST APIs
