This full-time, on-site Senior Tax and Accounting Associate role is based in Jakarta and supports Lalamove's tax work across Indonesia. The job covers withholding tax and VAT calculation and reporting, periodic and annual tax returns, monthly corporate income tax provisions, and handling tax audits and correspondence with the tax office.
It suits a detail-focused tax accountant with at least four years of experience, Brevet A and B certifications and sound knowledge of Indonesian taxation and accounting systems.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and report withholding tax and VAT accurately and on time, including e-Faktur
- Prepare monthly and annual tax returns and the monthly corporate income tax provision
- Issue withholding tax slips and send them to counterparties
- Support tax audits and reply to tax office queries, including SP2DK letters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- At least four years as a tax accountant or in a similar role
- Brevet A and B certifications and in-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation
Qualifications
- Experience at a tax consultancy or in the same industry is preferred
- Familiarity with Coretax, Xero or NetSuite and good MS Office skills
