The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with internal engineering, product, and project groups, as well as assist account and customer experience teams with tax-related questions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, project, and engineering divisions to launch, improve, and scale systems and products.
  • Contribute to and monitor tax-related projects including promotional campaigns and new product releases.
  • Assist customer experience and account operations teams in addressing tax inquiries and resolving withholding and reporting issues across crypto, retirement accounts, cost basis, and withholding.
  • Build and implement reconciliations of data between internal departments, vendors, and the IRS.

  • Create and maintain metric dashboards, checklists, and workflow queries to optimize team performance and the user experience.
  • Partner with various corporate departments to streamline data flow and automate operational processes.

Requirements

  • Possess 3 to 5 or more years of professional experience in tax, operations, and/or accounting.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Display the ability to drive and manage projects to completion within a deadline-driven setting.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior background in financial services, fintech, or crypto.
  • Past experience in tax operations or tax project management.
  • Familiarity with tax onboarding practices, including IRS forms W-8BEN and W-9.
  • Experience using tools such as SQL and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in data mining, conversions, and handling large datasets.
