Educative, an interactive learning platform founded by industry veterans to help software developers learn new skills and advance their careers, is seeking a Senior Technical Content Engineer for its Islamabad location. This full-time, on-site role involves breaking down advanced engineering concepts into clear educational materials for a global audience of developers.
The position suits engineers who enjoy learning emerging technologies and possess a talent for clear written communication. Selected professionals will research and design text-based programming courses, evaluate educational material produced by others, and help shape course strategy based on industry shifts. Additionally, content engineers act as internal platform experts, helping both internal staff and outside authors utilize platform capabilities while also participating in team mentorship and recruitment initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Research, plan, and build interactive text-based programming courses featuring hands-on projects for engineering learners
- Review educational materials created by others to verify technical accuracy and editorial quality
- Track industry trends to guide course strategy and align offerings with learner needs
- Master platform features to design courses and assist internal and external authors with platform usage
- Suggest product features and improvements, supporting them through prioritization, design, and execution
- Participate in team growth efforts including mentoring new hires, leading training sessions, and assisting with recruitment
Requirements
- Demonstrated background as a hands-on engineer with enthusiasm for picking up new programming languages and technologies
- Ability to explain complex technical ideas in a simple, clear manner
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Self-directed, disciplined, and goal-oriented work style
- Solid time management and multitasking capabilities
- Confidence in presenting to audiences of various sizes
