Educative operates a hands-on learning platform for software developers worldwide, established by industry veterans to assist learners in mastering modern technology through text-based courses, in-browser coding environments, and interview-focused assessments.
In this role, the Technical Content Engineer researches, plans, and builds interactive text-based courses featuring hands-on programming projects and assignments. The successful candidate will also review course material produced by others to guarantee editorial and technical quality, integrate Generative AI tools to accelerate workflows, and help guide authors in utilizing platform capabilities. Additionally, the position involves participating in team development activities such as mentoring new hires, leading training sessions, and assisting with recruitment.

Responsibilities

- Build expertise on the Educative platform and guide internal and external authors in utilizing platform features

Requirements
- Hands-on engineering background with experience in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, C#, HTML, and CSS
- Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, and prompt engineering
- Practical professional or technical experience using GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT
- Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to explain complicated technical topics simply
