Robinhood is recruiting a Senior Technical Recruiter to support hiring for its Infrastructure organization. Work is anchored in the Chicago, Illinois and Menlo Park, California offices, with on-site presence needed at least three days each week. This recruiting group supports engineering leaders in Infrastructure, Engineering Excellence and similar technical areas as they staff the teams that build Robinhood's products and systems.
The recruiter runs full-cycle hiring for specialized engineering positions, from first outreach through to offer acceptance. Much of the work involves planning with hiring leaders, defining what a strong candidate looks like, and building pipelines through research, outreach and sourcing approaches that reach well past inbound applications.
Daily tasks include keeping hiring managers informed on pipeline activity and roadblocks, coordinating interviews, and passing insights to peer recruiters and sourcers. The recruiter relies on applicant tracking and sourcing software to stay organized and must adjust as priorities shift across several open roles at once.
Candidates need five or more years of recruiting that runs the full cycle, including hiring for specialized technical roles and engaging passive candidates. Hands-on familiarity with Greenhouse-style hiring software and tools like Gem is expected, along with ease with AI tooling in recruiting and curiosity about building custom tools. The base pay range is $112,000 to $132,000 in Chicago, $128,000 to $150,000 in Zone 1 locations such as Menlo Park and New York, and $99,000 to $117,000 in Zone 3 locations such as Florida.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from first outreach through offer acceptance
- Build candidate pipelines through research, outreach and sourcing that reach beyond inbound applications
- Define role requirements and candidate profiles with hiring managers, and report on hiring progress
- Coordinate interviews and exchange pipeline insights with fellow recruiters and sourcers
- Use applicant tracking and sourcing tools to organize candidates and improve outreach
Requirements
- Five or more years of recruiting that runs the full cycle, including specialized technical roles
- Skill in finding and warming up passive talent through research and outreach software
- Ability to give hiring managers clear updates on pipeline activity and roadblocks
- Hands-on use of Greenhouse or comparable hiring software, plus Gem or similar sourcing platforms
- Capacity to juggle a set of open requisitions and shift focus as priorities move
- Ease with AI tooling inside recruiting workflows, and interest in building custom tools
