This position acts as the registered representative across these operations, directing transaction lifecycles from due diligence to settlement.
The role suits a professional with a background in capital markets, equity underwriting operations, or investment banking compliance. Responsibilities include managing daily processing, maintaining compliance controls, engaging with regulators, and supervising retail distribution under relevant FINRA rules. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with Compliance, Finance, and Trading Operations teams.
This is a full-time, on-site position requiring attendance five days per week at the company office. Responsibilities
- Act as a delegate principal under FINRA Rule 3110 to maintain Written Supervisory Procedures and approve key stages of offerings
- Supervise retail distribution participation on new-issue offerings, covering allocation methodologies and fair-dealing practices under FINRA Rules 5130 and 5131
- Act as subject-matter expert for selecting or building the firm underwriting operations stack
- Manage operational execution for firm-commitment underwriting from due diligence through settlement, including syndicate activities and co-manager arrangements
- Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Operations groups to support accurate reporting and regulatory filings
Requirements
- Possess 4 to 7 years of professional experience in equity underwriting operations, capital markets, or investment banking compliance
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of FINRA Rules 5110, 5130, 5131, and 3110
- Bring background in compliance operations, reporting, and supervisory program management
- Work on-site in the Chicago office five days per week
