Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dubai role that keeps Namshi's daily apparel shoot on track in the studio. The coordinator reports to the Styling Manager and has no direct reports. The position covers directing the shoot, handling models, choosing and coding images, with the goal of hitting each day's targets while applying photography and styling guidelines consistently.
Day to day, the coordinator sets shoot times to get the most out of studio hours, ensures models and crew are ready at the scheduled starts, including after breaks, and makes sure everyone understands and works toward the day's goals. The coordinator guides models, the photographer and stylists toward the strongest frames, chooses website images on set by weighing composition, pose, styling and how clearly the product shows, and deals with unplanned issues. Changes are communicated to styling, image sequencing, workflow and outside suppliers, and the coordinator needs a working view of the whole production chain.
Performance is judged on meeting deadlines, the speed and quality of styling and image selection, responsiveness to feedback, the overall standard of finished images and the number of improvements suggested and put in place. Applicants should communicate and manage well, pay close attention to detail, have a creative eye and be well informed on brands and trends. Previous e-commerce studio work, Microsoft Office proficiency and Capture One knowledge are expected. The role suits someone who stays composed and upbeat in a fast studio and makes calls and fixes problems on the spot.
