Operating as a globally distributed organization since its founding in 2004, the firm builds next-generation private cloud infrastructure integrating SDN, KVM, and Ceph technologies to support core and edge enterprise deployments.

This remote position is open to candidates residing in the Americas and the EMEA region. The role focuses on leading a remote team of engineers, supporting their professional growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality distributed systems software. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in software engineering, technical leadership experience, and familiarity with Linux kernels, virtualization, networking, and storage. Staff members work from home with requirements for global travel lasting four to six weeks annually for internal and external events, alongside biannual in-person team gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of remote software engineers
  • Coach, mentor, and guide career development for team members
  • Manage expectations across senior management, external stakeholders, and other engineering teams

Requirements
