Neo4j is hiring a Solutions Engineer for the Central region to help organizations transform data into intelligence using its graph intelligence platform. In this position, you will work closely with sales executives as a key technical advisor, demonstrating how Neo4j technology solves complex business challenges for customers across sectors like telecommunications, financial services, life sciences, and technology. This role suits professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong customer-facing skills who enjoy translating sophisticated data concepts into valuable business outcomes.
As part of the regional go-to-market team, you will lead technology evaluations, run platform demonstrations, and guide clients from initial discovery to value realization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, professional services, and marketing, while helping drive regional revenue targets by validating technical opportunities and accelerating sales cycles.
Responsibilities
- Articulate the business and technical value of Neo4j products and services to prospective and existing customers
- Drive and execute the technology evaluation phase of sales cycles across multiple parallel opportunities
- Perform opportunity qualification, technical discovery, platform demonstrations, sizing, and proof of value
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels
- Co-create reference and solution architectures that integrate Neo4j with existing applications and public cloud or on-premise environments
- Communicate customer requirements and product feedback back to internal product, engineering, marketing, and sales groups
- Represent the company at account-based marketing events, trade shows, and industry conferences
- Travel as needed to assist in deal creation, closure, and team support
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of client-facing experience in a role such as Solutions Engineer, Presales, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant
- Experience working with data technologies in enterprise architecture, cloud data architecture, data science, or data analytics
- Familiarity with graph data technology
- Hands-on background and proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in at least one programming language among Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, and C#
- Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing data solutions in on-premise or public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
