In this role, the selected candidate will deliver frontline operational support across two exchanges: the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange and Deribit. Because the team functions around the clock, the position involves keeping trading, clearing, and connectivity systems operational for both internal stakeholders and clients. Key duties include troubleshooting live issues, coordinating cross-functional problem-solving, and running deployment tests to safeguard production environments.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $112,965 to $132,900 USD, with total compensation potentially including equity, bonuses, and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications for the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange and Deribit
- Investigate and resolve inquiries from customers concerning exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and business technology
- Deliver frontline assistance for internal and external exchange operations investigations, including error trade analysis and resolution
- Collaborate with product and development teams during product launches, platform updates, and pre-production deployment testing
- Assist with client and vendor onboarding and ongoing operational enablement across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange
- Find, record, and suggest operational process improvements that support business goals and platform expansion
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Economics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related technical discipline
- Bring at least one year of professional experience working in financial markets operations or a technical operations environment
- Demonstrate product and operational expertise regarding listed futures or options, featuring practical experience with error trade analysis and resolution
- Possess the ability to explain complex technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Show documented experience providing multi-channel customer support via voice, email, and chat while preserving quality during high-volume and time-sensitive situations
- Apply generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight to achieve efficient workflows, cost control, and quality
Qualifications
