Job Description
Elastic is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for its IT team, based in the United States. The job is full-time and on-site. The work centers on Xactly, where compensation and commission data is loaded ahead of each commission run.
This engineer builds, maintains and tunes Connect integration pipelines that move data from source systems into Xactly. Because errors in compensation data change what people are paid, the engineer tracks down data quality problems, failed Connect jobs, mismatches and pipeline faults before each run goes out.
Working relationships matter here. The engineer pins down data needs with compensation analysts, finance operations staff, and colleagues in IT, Accounting, Sales Compensation and Sales. Documenting pipeline setup, field mappings and transformation logic is also part of the job, so the next developer can take over without guesswork.
The posting looks for at least five years working hands-on with Xactly Connect, including pipelines, transformations and scheduling, plus skill with Xactly Extend and Xactly CEA, along with solid SQL, a grasp of ETL ideas and flat-file or SFTP transfers, and experience connecting platforms such as Salesforce (SFDC), Workday or NetSuite are important, along with meticulous attention to detail.

- Construct, look after and tune Connect integration pipelines running from source systems into Xactly

- Experience connecting source systems like SFDC, Workday, NetSuite or comparable CRM, HCM or ERP platforms
- Meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Xactly certification
- Knowledge of ICM or SPM processes, including quota, territory, crediting and payout cycles
