Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype scalable, high-performance solutions utilizing modern technologies
- Experiment and iterate on novel product concepts involving machine learning, AI, and emerging tech
- Establish technical direction while mentoring engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate across functions to align prototypes with strategic business goals and opportunities
- Directly mentor software development engineering personnel located in the US and India
- Communicate technical visions and project results clearly to executive leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- Over fifteen years of experience in principal engineering or architecture roles within fast-paced, innovative settings
- Applied governance framework and fraud detection background
- Familiarity with large language models, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, alongside model deployment experience
- Proven success in designing high-performance, large-scale architectures across both Azure and AWS
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of guiding technical direction
- Exceptional communication skills tailored for both non-technical and technical audiences
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages including Go, Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience handling both back-end development such as Spring, SpringBoot, and Node.js alongside front-end frameworks like Angular and React
- Thorough comprehension of SQL and NoSQL database technologies and their associated tradeoffs
