Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Senior Director of Demand and Digital Marketing to lead its global digital and campaign work from the United States. The job is full-time and on-site and reports to the CMO, sitting on the marketing leadership team. The company's stated aim is to make data useful to everyone, and its platform serves Enterprise Search, Observability and Security needs.

Global digital planning falls to the director, with paid acquisition, campaign programs and nurture email all in scope. The posting asks for an AI-powered demand engine that uses predictive analytics to lift pipeline across channels, along with a digital experience that personalizes interactions and relies on continuous testing. Integrated campaign strategy covers the Search AI, Observability and Security offerings and is aligned with go-to-market priorities.

The leader runs a worldwide group of marketing leaders covering digital, paid media, campaigns, email and lifecycle work. Partners include product marketing, sales, revenue operations, product teams, customer success and senior executives. Customer marketing is part of the remit, including expansion and advocacy programs, along with a measurement framework that connects digital engagement to pipeline and revenue, and management of global digital budgets.

In the first twelve months, the posting expects the director to modernize the digital operating model, raise digital contribution to pipeline and revenue, align digital work with sales and revenue operations, and create a culture of experimentation. The ideal person has 15 or more years leading B2B marketing organizations, seven or more years leading global teams, enterprise SaaS go-to-market experience, and a record of managing multimillion-dollar budgets.

  • Serve as the Digital and Campaigns leader within the broader go-to-market organization
  • Own the measurement framework from acquisition through pipeline and revenue
  • Plan and tune the worldwide digital budget

Requirements

  • Fifteen-plus years running B2B marketing teams that handle digital work, campaigns, demand creation and go-to-market planning
  • Seven or more years leading worldwide teams and growing future leaders
  • Proven enterprise SaaS go-to-market success, with knowledge of complex buying journeys
  • Grasp of the digital stack: paid channels, martech, analytics, attribution and AI-driven marketing
  • Hands-on use of generative AI, predictive models and automation to lift marketing outcomes
  • Executive presence and a record of influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar global digital marketing budgets
  • A builder's mindset focused on innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement
