Contentstack is seeking an experienced professional for a Senior Partner Relationship Manager position focused on agencies, operating as a senior-level individual contributor. In this role, you will define and lead the global agency partner strategy from the ground up, cultivate high-value relationships, and generate measurable pipeline growth and commercial impact. This opportunity is well-suited for a commercially-driven alliances expert who excels at building partner motions, pitching live without technical sales support, and positioning against major enterprise suite competitors. You will collaborate closely with prominent global agencies such as WPP, Omnicom, Monks, and Razorfish to expand enterprise adoption and scale joint go-to-market initiatives. The position requires strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate effectively without a pre-existing playbook.
Responsibilities
- Manage the global agency go-to-market strategy end to end across key partner portfolios.
- Cultivate and expand strategic agency relationships, converting project-based connections into long-term partnerships.
- Generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline with a primary focus on enterprise opportunities.
- Develop agency-specific messaging and positioning targeted at CMOs and marketing leadership.
- Partner with independent software vendors to create joint go-to-market strategies and demonstration playbooks.
- Represent the organization with agency leadership and clients through executive briefings, joint activations, and live demonstrations.
- Contribute strategic guidance on agency workflows and best practices across the broader partner organization.
Requirements
- Possess eight to twelve years of experience in channel, alliances, or partner roles within enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrate at least four years of direct experience working with global agencies or agency holding companies.
- Have proven experience selling alongside global agencies and constructing agency-specific go-to-market strategies.
- Show a track record of turning opportunistic partner interactions into strategic, agreement-backed relationships.
- Exhibit the ability to pitch the company live and unscripted without relying on a Sales Engineer during the interview process.
- Display experience influencing CMOs and marketing decision-makers.
- Maintain comfort operating autonomously to build programs and messaging from the ground up.
